Day 9 – Whole30

Day 9

I was surrounded by gluten and processed sugars today at work. Someone made cake and brought it in and another person brought in Krispy Kreme donuts. The donuts looked so pretty, but I really wasn’t tempted actually. I feel like I’ve gotten over the “carb flu” and I’m just feeling awesome and totally satisfied!

Today’s meals were pretty much identical to yesterday during the day. Again, not monotonous because I LOVE this food.

Long 2 hours at the gym after work and then I came home and had a big dinner. I didn’t finish it all though, because I got full. Perfect for leftovers for tomorrow’s breakfast!

Organic green leaf lettuce, Paleo-friendly chicken sausage, roasted seaweed, some nitrate-free bacon, mashed sweet potatoes, a chicken egg and a turkey egg with bacon grease drizzled over.
If you can get your hands on a turkey egg, buy it! The yolks are so big and creamy! Delicious! I get my eggs from a lady at work that raises chickens and turkeys and lots of other things. So nice to have fresh pastured eggs!
