Day 17 – Whole30

Day 17

I was exhausted last night and went to bed early. Probably fell asleep by 9:30, but got some amazing sleep. I woke up and I think it was the best I’ve ever felt in the morning. I felt unstoppable and think I finally reached the TIGER BLOOD phase of my Whole30. It’s funny, this week has been really stressful at work due to vacation coverage and I’ve felt mentally exhausted, BUT physically I feel incredible. I don’t have any cravings and I don’t need snacks like I used to. I haven’t weighed myself, but my clothes are definitely fitting better and I feel strong. I’ve even begun thinking maybe I’ll keep this going longer than 30 days. We’ll see about that. I keep pinning delicious looking sweet paleo recipes and have my two new cookbooks to try (Make It Paleo and OMG, That’s Paleo?).

Breakfast:

Sauteed kale and spinach, a paleo-friendly chicken sausage, half avocado, and 1 strip of nitrate-free bacon.

Lunch:

Brussels sprouts, broccoli, half avocado, and chicken breast wrapped with prosciutto. YUM!

Got off work early today (Summer Hours). I’ll post dinner later.
